Our hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday. We take holidays and weekends off. If you get my voice mail, please leave your name and phone number so I can call you back.
Feel free to call or email if you have any questions about any of the items in our store, or if you would like me to make suggestions or recommendations for you or for a gift. You can even send a photo of yourself or the person you are buying for, and I can help you select the perfect item.
If the “Ship To” and “Bill To” information are different, I will assume that the order is a gift and I will not include prices on the invoice. All orders are wrapped in tissue paper and satin ribbon, with a hand written note saying it is from you. If you would like me to say something special, please write it in the comments box at check out.
I accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Pay Pal, Amazon Pay, Shop Pay for all online orders. When ordering by phone, I accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.
A copy of this return policy will be included in your order.
I hope you are delighted with your order. If any item does not meet your expectations, I want to give you a full, no hassle refund or exchange. It's really pretty simple:
Please ship your return within 30 days of receiving your order.
I must be able to resell the items as brand new and in perfect condition. All merchandise must be completely new and unworn, with all tags intact. All items must be free of loose hairs, make up, perfume, cigarette smoke and other odors. Please remove your makeup around your hairline before trying on.
Soft items can be returned in a padded envelope. Feel free to use the same envelope in which they were shipped or similar. Use whatever shipping method is easiest for you. (US mail, UPS, etc) If your hat was shipped in a box, please use the same box or similar so that it doesn't get crushed or bent.
We do not offer free shipping on returns. However, we want to make returns as easy for you as possible. If you would like us to send you a postage paid return label via email that you can print and tape to your package, please reply to your email order or delivery confirmation and request a return label. If you no longer have those email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and request a return label. USA ONLY
We will deduct the shipping cost from your refund. You can then leave your package with your outgoing mail and that will save you a trip to the post office and standing in line. We have better shipping rates than what you will get at the post office. I charge the exact price that I pay, with no handling fee. Usually around $4.00 to $5.00

Please include your invoice or a copy, make a note of what items you are keeping, what you are returning, and what you would like in exchange, if applicable. If you no longer have your invoice, please include a note with your name so I can easily find your order. I can't credit your card if I don't know who you are.
EXCHANGES: The easiest way is to place a new order; we’ll send it out right away and credit your original order when we receive your return. If you prefer an actual exchange, I will send you an email invoice for the shipping charges and balance due, if applicable.
REFUNDS: We will process your refund within 3 days of receiving your package, less the cost of the return label, if applicable.
At Hats, Scarves and More, your privacy and trust are guaranteed. Your information is secure and absolutely confidential. All personal information will be used solely to process your order. I will never phone or email you unless I have a question or important information regarding your order. I will not sell or share your information with anyone, ever.
We will not add you to our mailing list without your consent.
When you make an online purchase, your personal information and credit card number are processed through Shopify secure server. Secure Socket Layer. (SSL)
SSL encrypts (converts) your information into codes that only Shopify can recognize. This allows your information to travel safely over the internet, without others accessing it.
When shopping on the website you’ll see the web address or URL always starts with https. The "S" indicates that your connection to the server is secure. Hats, Scarves and More does not have access to your credit card number.
CREATING AN ACCOUNT
When you check out, you will be given the option to create an account or check out as a guest. If you create an account, your name and shipping information will be stored and automatically filled in the next time you shop with us, saving you the time and trouble of listing it again. Your credit card information is not stored with us.
We will not automatically list you on our email list. If you would like to join our newsletter for new arrivals, sales and coupons you’ll find the sign up at the bottom of each page.
At Hats, Scarves and More, we charge actual shipping prices only, based on the estimated weight of your order. Orders ship next business day from Spokane, WA.
You may choose First Class, Priority or Express. Post office boxes okay. If U.S. mail does not deliver to your physical address, please use a post office box or work address.
Free first class mail shipping, every day, on orders over $70. USA Only.
We are happy to ship orders internationally.

Customs Charges: Customs charges and policies vary per country and are out of my control. It’s my understanding that declaring your order as a gift does not free it of customs charges in most countries.
Customs charges to UK can be substantial. Please check with your local customs office to find out what your customs charges will be.
